Dr. Kent Hardenbrook is a second-generation chiropractor with over 25 years experience giving hands-on manual adjustments. He is an excellent adjuster and a great diagnostician. He has been serving Nevada and Placer Counties since 2014. Dr. Kent has patients that travel from Grass Valley, Nevada City, Auburn, Penn Valley, Rocklin, Colfax, and Meadow Vista.

Dr. Kent's patients get particularly great results for headaches and neck pain. He especially loves seeing people who come to maintain their overall health and vitality!​​

At Hardenbrook Chiropractic, we offer chiropractic adjustments for pain relief as well as health and vitality. We provide physicals for school sports and consultations or second opinions for various health conditions.

New Patient Visit

During a new patient visit, you'll have lots of time to go over your health history and concerns. A chiropractic adjustment will be included if needed.

About the Doctor
Dr. Kent Hardenbrook grew up in Texas and served in the Air Force after graduating high school. During his time in the Air Force he lived in Germany and served in the Gulf War. After finishing his term, he decided to follow in the footsteps of his uncle and go to chiropractic school. He graduated from Northwestern University with a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1997 and a Bachelor's in Human Biology.

After graduating Chiropractic school, Dr. Kent was part owner of a busy practice in Minnesota where he fell in love with sailing during brief escapes from the harsh Midwest winters. He sold his practice, moved onto a sailboat with his family, and sailed to St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, where he had a practice for over 10 years. After leaving the Caribbean, he had a brief stint in San Francisco before settling in Grass Valley in 2014 and opening Hardenbrook Chiropractic in its original location near Lake of the Pines. He moved his office to its current location in Grass Valley in 2023.

Dr. Kent has worked as a (boiled) bagel maker, truck driver, chiropractor, and is also the owner and artist of Texas Kent Signs, where he lovingly creates hand-painted signage and advertisements for local Nevada County businesses.
